A LITTLE ABOUT US

Canterbury Westland Transport Ltd.

100% Kiwi owned and operated by our family, we have been operating from our Rolleston site since 1998.  Originally beginning as a rural transport operation transporting all things rural between Canterbury and the West Coast (hence our name: Canterbury Westland Transport Limited),  when we were required to split our truck and trailer loads with a tractor unit to navigate backwards and forwards over Arthurs Pass.

We decided to recently rebrand as CWT Ltd when we became an MPI certified devanning facility .  Along with devanning containers, we have also been assembling farm machinery and offering storage facilities at our Rolleston depot.

Joining Shane and Leanne in CWT is now their two sons Jason and Hamish.  Jason offers a strategic vision in the devanning area - container brooker, engineering and storage management, while Hamish drives.
